Greater St. Louis Area FCA Leadership

Erik Arneson
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been a part of Erik's life since he was born. His father, Mark Arneson, was active in an FCA huddle at the University of Arizona as a football player, and then continued his involvement in the NFL through chapel services, bible studies and as a board member. Erik grew up going to camps, huddle meetings and other community events with his dad. As Erik got older, the FCA huddle at Lafayette High School and the FCA camps were instrumental in helping him grow in his faith in Jesus Christ. Erik learned how to lead a small group, have a quiet time and read the Bible through FCA. The FCA huddle also helped Erik reach some of his high school swimming teammates for Christ as well.
During college, Erik was called to be a vocational minister. Of course, after college, the first place he applied to work was FCA. He was hired to be an FCA Area Representative in 1997 by Greater St. Louis Area FCA second-ever Area Director, Rick Horton. Erik has participated in most areas of FCA as an Area Rep, Area Director, Metro Director and now serves as the Greater St. Louis Multi-Area Director.
Erik has been married to his wife, Wendy (who is a counselor), for 24 years and has three sons - David, Jonathan, and Samuel. He is active in his church as a weekly adult Bible study leader. Erik also enjoys hunting and CrossFit.
